Joe and I have been “power dreaming” since the ideation of this film. We are always thinking about the next step, the next goals to hit, and the next big moments to work towards.  However there are some moments in your life, like premiering your feature film in a Classic Place, that you can’t truly imagine manifesting. You can put that post-it note on your vision board, and work like hell to make the best film possible. You are just straight up existing, breathing, and thankful to be alive – crossing all your fingers and toes that the movie plays seamlessly and that you hit a couple of people in the heart with your message. This past weekend we had one of those perfect days you can’t even imagine happening – when i premiered Dija at Mauve 21 in Ibadan.

Hollywood Megastar and producer, Joe Adetona returned home after several years in diaspora for location survey in his fatherland-Nigeria for his next production. In the course of his duty in fatherland bumped into reign of the moment Nollywood symbol, Tokunbo Latona who displayed all forms of nonchalant attitude as been intoxicated by fame and status. As destiny would have it identical bags were mistaken belonging to Joe and Tokunbo. This i can call the beginning of 'forever' of their communication and consequently intimacy which made a 13days old communication a forever living peaceful co-existence in matrimony.

A very topical and very down to earth film that captures the intricate fabric that runs through relationships and how our lives are often connected in ways we may not yet see.

Biographies

Producer: Tokunbo Latona,who hailed from osogbo in osun state from the Royal family of late King Samuel Latona 2, is a Nollywood Actress who came into the movie scene in 2003 after an audition with a reputable television station Galaxy in the City of Ibadan and with production of two movies to her credit. Tokunbo Latona is Theatre Art graduate of the prestigious University of Ibadan and as selectively featured in several English and yoruba movies some of which are heartbeat,a Television Soap Opera; Dollars from Germany, an English films; Nifemi, a movie which brought her into limelight and countless of best selling movies home and abroad.

Executive Producer: Luxury Pictures is an enthusiast company nourish with creative and positive thinkers which has brought cinema to the new age and modern pictorial graphics as a process of transforming invaluable objects to meaningful and understandable graphics to the viewers.

Writer: Joe Adetona is a Nigerian-born director based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is an acclaimed script writer, producer and director of repute.. he has created sleek cinematic music videos for music's biggest stars, such as Reminisce, Ajay'P , Dare David, Ini, Dafidi, Theodora and more. He has won numerous music video awards. Joe is also a successful photographer, doing editorials, advertising and album packaging shoots. All in all, Joe Adetona's music videos have been viewed more than 1 million times on YouTube.
